What’s the best meal you’ve ever had — and where was it?

Steak and truffle fries from Prime 47 (Indy)- The meal was celebrating my wife and I's 9th anniversary.  I'll admit I'm biased...At the time we had 3 kids age 4 and under.  I'm not sure if it was the food, or the fact that we had a night free from all the responsibilities having little kids can bring!

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?

Smoking Meat- It started out as trial and error and has ended with a custom 2,000 pound smoker that had to arrive by semi.  I love making meals that are worthy of memories and sharing them with people.

What’s a career lesson or piece of advice that’s stuck with you?

The process is the reward.
